Coffee Cocktails for Any Occasion

Two Coffee Cocktails — And Two Alcohol-Free Alternatives

Coffee works just as well after dark as it does in the morning. With the right balance, it becomes slow, indulgent, and ritual-led.

Here are two simple coffee cocktails, each paired with a non-alcoholic alternative, so everyone can join in.

Espresso Martini

A modern classic. Smooth, rich, and quietly indulgent.

Ingredients
• 30ml freshly brewed espresso (cooled)
• 40ml vodka
• 20ml coffee liqueur
• Ice

Method
1. Brew a fresh espresso and allow it to cool slightly
2. Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice
3. Shake firmly for 10–15 seconds
4. Strain into a chilled glass
5. Garnish with coffee beans if desired

Balanced, silky, and best enjoyed slowly.

Alcohol-Free: Coffee & Vanilla Cream

Soft, comforting, and designed for evenings.

Ingredients
• 40ml cold brew coffee
• 10ml vanilla syrup (or a drop of vanilla extract)
• Oat milk or whole milk
• Ice

Method
1. Fill a short glass with ice
2. Add cold brew and vanilla
3. Stir gently
4. Top with milk and serve

Smooth, rounded, and caffeine without the sharp edges.

Coffee Old Fashioned

A slower, more contemplative drink.

Ingredients
• 40ml bourbon or dark rum
• 20ml cold brew coffee
• 1 tsp sugar or maple syrup
• 2 dashes aromatic bitters
• Ice

Method
1. Add all ingredients to a rocks glass over ice
2. Stir gently until chilled
3. Express an orange peel over the glass if you like
4. Serve over a large cube

Deep, warming, and ideal for late evenings.

Alcohol-Free: Coffee & Ginger Highball

Spiced, refreshing, and quietly complex.

Ingredients
• 30ml cold brew coffee
• Ginger beer
• Ice
• Lime wedge (optional)

Method
1. Fill a tall glass with ice
2. Add cold brew
3. Top with ginger beer
4. Stir lightly and garnish if desired

Bright, clean, and surprisingly well balanced.

Final Note

These drinks work best with a smooth, medium-roast coffee like Studio Blend and Session No. 4, which brings balance and natural sweetness without overpowering the drink.

Coffee drinks aren’t about complexity — they’re about pace.
Whether you choose alcohol or not, coffee still sets the rhythm.

Slow brew.
Easy pour.
Evening coffee, done properly.
